What is Sling Training?

Where Sling Fitness Training uses your own body weight and be used as the load resistance for the muscle. Due to the change of body inclination angle, the training intensity can be individually controlled and appropriate to the level of training. Its wide range of scientifically based exercises and the adaptability of the intensity make that sling fitness training so interesting for all sports and performance areas, both for professional sportsmen and athletes as well as for amateur and recreational athletes in the fields of football, basketball, rock climbing, boxing etc.

The manoeuvrability of this sports equipment represents the challenge of keeping the body during exercise in the optimal position and commutes the balance. Through this type of training, the majority of the muscles are used and offers the best possible training effect for the “hidden” groups of muscles and ligaments of the body that are normally used rather infrequently.

In addition to the targeted strength and muscle in the leg, torso and shoulder area, it offers particularly the coordination and stability training benefits in terms of stability and injury prevention. Typical sport injuries such as ligament and cruciate ligament tear or even back pains can be prevented effectively and proactively. During exercise, the heavy stress areas of the musculoskeletal system (ligaments, joints) are stabilized by the special Sling Fitness training and consolidated so that they can withstand the force at any time and can counteract. The quality of movement under competitive conditions during training and operation will be positively affected.

The spine can be stabilized in all body positions and locations; thus, back pain, the public health enemy number one, can be effectively avoided. Similarly, the stabilization training can also be used for rehabilitation after injuries to the muscles and ligaments to prepare for the athletic stress again. Already many physiotherapists use this method of training for their patients.

These advantages have also discovered many top coaches and athletes for the sling fitness training in their training program included. Prominent examples include, e.g. The German National Football Team of the women and men, professional female boxer Ina Menzer and the German champions in beach volleyball, Sara Goller and Laura Ludwig.
